Jacob M. Hughes
Attorney Jacob Hughes was born and raised in South Carolina. He focuses his practice on serious personal injuries with emphasis on motor vehicle wrecks, wrongful death, premises liability, as well as workers’ compensation. In addition to civil trials, Jacob also handles cases on appeal and insurance coverage disputes.
Jacob attended Furman University, where he completed a double-major in History and Music Performance. Jacob obtained his law degree from the University of South Carolina in 2012.
Jacob has tried cases in state and federal court and represents individuals throughout the Fourteenth Circuit of Beaufort, Jasper, Colleton, and Hampton counties. Previously Jacob practiced civil litigation in Greenville and Charleston.
Outside of the office, Jacob enjoys fly-fishing, drawing, classic literature, and visiting the family farm.
